LOCK HAVEN, Pa. –
Jasmine Raudys had a match-high 10 kills and helped force Lock Haven into 23 hitting errors as IUP women's volleyball picked up a straight-set win Friday night.
The Crimson Hawks won by scores of 25-21, 25-19 and 25-11.
Raudys hit .529 with her season-high 10 kills coming on 17 attacks. She also had a block assist as IUP tallied 5.0 total blocks and limited Lock Haven to a -.035 hitting percentage. It's the lowest hitting percentage by an IUP opponent in 17 matches this season.
The Crimson Hawks improved to 4-13 overall and 3-5 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play. Lock Haven fell to 6-13 and 0-9.
IUP didn't trail all night in a match that included seven ties in the three sets.
The Crimson Hawks finished with 33 kills and a .213 hitting percentage, their second best performance of the season. They also had nine service aces, the second most this season and the most in a three-set match.
