Nicole Peterson finished with 21 kills and classmate
Brooke Little added 14 but too many errors proved costly as IUP women's volleyball lost a four-set decision at Millersville Saturday afternoon.
It was Peterson's second 20-kill performance of the weekend after totaling 20 in a Friday night win at West Chester. She hit .283 Saturday and totaled 22.5 points with two total blocks.
Little added to IUP's offensive punch with her sixth double-digit kill performance of the season. She hit .321 with just five errors on 28 attacks.
The Crimson Hawks won the opening set 25-23 but dropped three straight by scores of 25-17, 27-25 and 25-19.
IUP totaled 60 kills and 7.0 team blocks compared to Millersville's 55 and 3.0, but combined for 14 more errors which proved to be the difference.

Alyssa Kimmel. Freshman
Leah Henderson had 15 to go along with 48 assists.
With the loss the Crimson Hawks split its weekend and drop to 2-11 overall and 1-3 in PSAC play.

IUP returns home next weekend with matches against East Stroudsburg Friday and Pitt-Johnstown Saturday.
