CALIFORNIA, Pa. – Freshman outside hitter
Nicole Peterson had 15 kills and 10 digs and IUP bounced back from a first set loss to post a four-set victory over Cal U Friday night at the Convocation Center.
It was Peterson's fourth double-double of the season and she also went over 300 kills for the year, becoming the fourth freshman in program history to hit that milestone.

Leah Henderson had 35 assists and tied a season-high with 17 digs, adding three kills and three block assists.
The Vulcans (12-14, 7-11 PSAC) opened the night with a dominant 25-12 in the opening set as IUP hit negative with six kills and seven errors. But the Crimson Hawks rebounded to score wins of 25-20, 25-22 and 25-22.
IUP never trailed in the second set, leading by as many has 12 points to win in dominant fashion. The Hawks rallied late in the third set, using a 7-0 run to take a 2-1 lead in the match and came back from a deficit in the fourth to earn the win.
Neither team finished with a high hitting percentage as IUP hit .078 while the Vulcans hit .071. The Crimson Hawks had 7.0 team blocks as junior middle
Jasmine Raudys had five block assists to go along with her seven kills.

Celine Blon had 25 digs and three aces.

The Crimson Hawks (7-20, 6-12 PSAC) wrap up their 2019 season Saturday on the road at Seton Hill. The Griffins (18-9, 13-5 PSAC) have clinched the division win and a spot in the PSAC tournament.
