INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP men's and women's swimming teams each picked up their first wins of the season as they hosted a dual with Saint Vincent Saturday at the Pidgeon Natatorium. The men won 108.5-89.5 and the women were victorious 133-70.
The Crimson Hawks won 18 of the 22 total events, including 17 of the 18 individual events.
The women swept their nine individual events with
Gabrielle Gironda earning wins in both the 100 and 200 yard freestyle.

Clara Gracia (1000 free),
Emma Winchell (50 free),
Rachel Johnson (200 IM),
Paige Mikesell (200 IM),
Lindsey Griffith (100 back),
Olivia Santee (500 free) and
Paige McCullough (100 breast).
Ryan Hartmann was a two-time winner on the men's side with individual victories in the 100 and 200 yard free.

PSAC qualifiers
IUP also saw 10 swimmers hit Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying times. Gironda had two in the 100 and 200 free.
