JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The IUP women's volleyball team lost in three sets to Pitt-Johnstown Friday night at the UPJ Sports Center. The Mountain Cats won by scores of 25-22, 25-19 and 25-13.
It was the third straight loss for the Crimson Hawks, who are now 11-12 overall and 2-6 in the PSAC West. UPJ improved to 11-5 overall and 4-3 in the division.
The Mountain Cats forced IUP into a .027 hitting percentage on the night as they totaled 14 total blocks.
Nicole Peterson and
Brooke Little each had a team-high five kills. Peterson also led the team with 12 digs and
Leah Henderson dished out 20 assists with two block assists.
Up next
The Crimson Hawks will look to end their skid next week when they host Seton Hill (9-8, 2-4) Tuesday night at the Kovalchick Complex.
