INDIANA, Pa. - On a day in which the IUP women's soccer program honored its three seniors, the Crimson Hawks lost a 1-0 decision to Seton Hill at South Campus Field Saturday afternoon.
Prior to kickoff IUP recognized seniors
Tyler Baim,
Natalie DiCureia, and
Mahogany Willis.
The loss drops the Crimson Hawks to 7-7-1 overall and 6-7-1 in the PSAC West. They remain two points behind Edinboro (21-19) for the fourth and final PSAC tournament spot with two matches to play.
IUP owned a 14-8 advantage in shots on the day, with leading scorer
Hannah Scardina tallying four shots on the afternoon. The Seton Hill keeper finished with 12 saves in the shutout win. The Griffins scored in the 59th minute on a goal by Olivia DeLeonibus. IUP's
Samantha Gildner had seven saves in the net.
The loss was the Hawks' fourth straight as they've been outscored 7-1 over the last two weeks.

The Crimson Hawks have two matches left in their playoff push and will host Mercyhurst Wednesday before traveling to Clarion on Saturday.
