INDIANA, Pa. - IUP head football coach Paul Tortorella announced his program's 2021 regular season schedule Wednesday afternoon. This will be the first action for the IUP football program since losing its 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 season consists of the mandated Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) 10-game schedule, which includes seven Western Division opponents and three more from the East. 

Kickoff times for all home games will be announced at a later date. Also, announcements on special game events and promotions will be made later this spring and summer. 

The schedule is split with five home and five road games. The Crimson Hawks are set to make their return after 656 days with a home season opener against Kutztown on Saturday, September 11. It will be the first of two straight games at George P. Miller Stadium, with IUP hosting Shepherd September 18. 

Three of IUP's seven divisional games will be played at home, including Gannon on October 2, Cal U on October 23 and Edinboro on October 30. Road PSAC West games are Mercyhurst on September 25, Clarion on October 9, Slippery Rock on October 16 and Seton Hill on November 6. 

The regular season wraps up Saturday, November 13 on the road against West Chester. That game would be flexed to the PSAC championship if the Crimson Hawks win the Western Division as they last did in 2017.
