GREENSBURG, Pa. - Sophomore
Harrison Pontoli extended his hit streak to 10 games but the IUP baseball team dropped both ends of a doubleheader at 11th-ranked Seton Hill on Friday afternoon.
The Griffins won by scores of 12-0 and 5-1 to remain the only undefeated team in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) at 10-0.
It was the division opening doubleheader for both teams as the Crimson Hawks fell to 1-9 on the year.
Pontoli finished the day a combined 3-6 with a run scored, including two of IUP's four hits in the opener.
Pontoli's run came in the sixth inning of game two, with
Colton Burd grounding to bring the sophomore across the plate to make it a 4-1 ballgame.
