INDIANA, Pa. - It was another tough afternoon for the IUP baseball team as the Crimson Hawks dropped both ends of a doubleheader to visiting Cal U at Dougherty Field. The Vulcans won by scores of 11-1 and 10-4.
The losses dropped the Crimson Hawks to 1-15 overall and 0-8 in PSAC West play. Cal U improved to 14-6 and 5-3.
The Crimson Hawks did combine for 14 base hits on the afternoon, including three each off the bats of
Chris Eisel and
Nick Hess.
Austin Vigliotti hit a two-run home run and
Colin Williams had a RBI double in game two.
IUP had another rough time in the field committing six errors that led to six unearned runs. The Vulcans also had nine extra base hits.

The Crimson Hawks will host Mount Aloysius in a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday afternoon.
