ERIE, Pa. – 110 minutes of women's soccer ended with nearly 40 shots but no goals as IUP battled Gannon to a 0-0 draw Saturday afternoon at McConnell Family Stadium.
IUP goalie
Samantha Gildner was strong in net with 12 saves while tallying her second shutout of the season. Gannon totaled 28 shots with 12 on goal.
The Crimson Hawks finished with 10 shots, including seven on goal, with
Hannah Scardina accounting for three of those.
Alayna Ryan,
Mahogany Willis, Samantha Nemeth and
Emma Petrie all had shots on goal.
This was IUP's first draw of the season and is now 2-1-1 overall, including 1-1-1 in the PSAC West.
