LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Athanasios Diamantidis was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Men's Swimmer of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
Diamantidis was one of several standout competitors for IUP in a dual meet sweep of Edinboro on October 21. He logged a pair of individual victories, coming in the 200 IM (2:00.55) and 100 breast (59.10).
He was also part of a first-place 200 medley relay group, swimming the third leg. He joined
Alexander Roth,
Ryan Hartmann and
Thomas McGillan for first place in the event, posting a time of 1:34.72.
IUP hosts Washington & Jefferson and Chatham for its next matchup on November 5 at 10:30 a.m.
