INDIANA, Pa. --The IUP football team continues the 2022 NCAA DII playoffs with a home matchup against Shepherd on Saturday, December 3 for the Super Region One Final. Kickoff in a battle between the top two seeds in Super Region One at Miller Stadium is set for 1:00 p.m.
The IUP Co-Op Store is purchasing tickets for IUP students, providing them free admission to the game with a valid I-Card. Student tickets can be obtained from the First Commonwealth Bank Box Office at the KCAC.
Game tickets will go on sale at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 28 and there are no season tickets for NCAA postseason competition. All season ticket holders will need to purchase their tickets separately for Saturday's game.
The IUP football team boasts a 10-1 overall record after a hard-fought 19-13 win against Ashland last Saturday. It marked the team's 23rd victory in the NCAA Playoffs, ranking seventh in DII for the most all-time.
Shepherd fought off Slippery Rock for a 37-27 victory last week to set up a rematch with the Crimson Hawks this weekend. IUP defeated Shepherd, 24-21, for the PSAC Championship back on November 12. The win helped the Crimson Hawks earn the top seed in the Super Region One Bracket.
