INDIANA, Pa. – Four Crimson Hawks were named to this week's IUP Weekly Honor Roll. Those athletes include
Kiera Baughman of women's basketball,
Armoni Foster and
Ethan Porterfield of men's basketball, and
Cahsia Page of women's track & field.
The Honor Roll celebrates individual standout performances from IUP student-athletes over the previous week.
Honor Roll recipients and details are listed below.
Kiera Baughman - Women's Basketball
The freshman point guard moved into the starting lineup last week, posting her first career double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds in a win at Slippery Rock. In three games she averaged 12.7 points, 5.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists.
Armoni Foster - Men's Basketball
The junior guard averaged hit the game-winning 3-pointer in the victory at Slippery Rock and averaged 24.5 points, 7.5 assists and 4.0 rebounds and shot 50.0 percent from the field and 15-of-17 from the foul line in two games last week.
Cahsia Page - Women's Track & Field
The sophomore sprinter won three events at Mount Union's Wuske Invitational on Saturday. She hit a PSAC qualifying time in the 60 meters (7.91), won the 200 meters (26.52), and helped the winning distance medley relay team break the meet record with a time of 13:33.81.
Ethan Porterfield - Men's Basketball
The sophomore forward averaged 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds in two wins last week. His seven 3-pointers against Gannon are the most by an IUP player since Jan. 19 as he went 11-of-19 (.579) from deep in two games.
