Hawks celebrate Senior Day with 21-0 win

INDIANA, Pa. - The IUP women's lacrosse team celebrated Senior Day with it's first shutout in more than 22 years with a 21-0 win over Edinboro on a snowy Saturday afternoon at Miller Stadium.

The victory was the third straight for the Crimson Hawks, who are now 5-2 overall and 3-0 in the PSAC West. The teams only played three quarters due to a combination of snow and hail in Indiana, plus a limited roster of just 12 for Edinboro.

This marked the third shutout victory in program history, and the first since the then-Indians defeated Saint Vincent 17-0 back on March 15, 2000. IUP also defeated Saint Vincent 22-0 on March 19, 1998, the first game in program history.

Chloe Borland: 3 goals, 3 assists
Leah Hunter: 3 goals, 3 assists

A total of 14 Hawks contributed to the team's scoring, with nine of those players combining for 17 assists on the 21 goals.
