INDIANA, Pa. - Leah Hunter and
Sarah Reustle combined for nine goals to lead the IUP women's lacrosse team to a 15-9 victory over visiting Lock Haven at Miller Stadium on Wednesday.
The win ended a two-game losing streak for the Crimson Hawks as they got back in the win column and improved to 9-4 overall and 6-2 in divisional play. Lock Haven fell to 7-5 and 4-4.

How it happened
The Crimson Hawks dominated early, scoring four of the first five goals to take a 4-1 lead with eight minutes left in the first quarter.
Leah Hunter had IUP's first two goals, scoring just 13 seconds apart. Hunter scored once more and IUP held a slim 5-3 lead after 15 minutes.
The Hawks went up big in the second, using a 6-0 run to go on top 10-3 midway through the quarter. Hunter and Reustle each scored twice on the run.
With IUP on top 10-5 coming out of halftime,
Katie Hibinger and Reustle scored 51 seconds apart to give the Hawks a 12-5 lead. Lock Haven closed the gap to 13-9 early in the fourth but the Hawks kept the Bald Eagles off the scoreboard for the final 11 minutes to get the win.
