INDIANA, Pa. - The IUP softball team lost to Bloomsburg 11-0 at Podbielski Field on Wednesday afternoon. It was the first game of a doubleheader that saw the nightcap canceled due to cold weather.
The Huskies scored four runs in the first, one in the second, and then ended the game with six runs in the top of the sixth inning to break open the 11-run lead.
IUP fell to 15-16 overall with the loss while Bloomsburg improved to 21-16.

The Hawks enter the final weekend of the regular season looking to clinch one of two remaining PSAC tournament spots in the division.
IUP will host Seton Hill Friday afternoon and play on the road at Pitt-Johnstown on Saturday.
