INDIANA, Pa. - Senior
Jack Buccigross and junior
Shaun Fedor of the IUP men's golf team were honored as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) announced its 2022 individual postseason awards Wednesday afternoon.
Buccigross was a first team All-PSAC selection while Fedor was a second team pick. It's the 10th time in the last 12 years that the Crimson Hawks have at least two all-conference selections and the 11th time since the 2010-11 season with at least one first teamer.
This makes four straight years on the All-PSAC team for Buccigross, earning his first career first team honor after three years on the second team. Also an All-Atlantic Region golfer, Buccigross led all IUP golfers with a 73.9 stroke average in nine events this year. He finished in the top-20 in seven of those events, including six top-10s and an individual win at West Chester's Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational in April. He was also a fourth place finisher at the 2021 PSAC Championship in the fall and tied for eighth at the NCAA Division II Atlantic/East Region Championship this spring.
Fedor is a three-time All-PSAC golfer, including two years on the first team. He finished the year second on the team with a 75.8 stroke average in nine events. Fedor finished in the top-20 four times, posting his second career victory at Bloomsburg University's Husky Invitational in late April. He tied for seventh at the PSAC Championship.
