INDIANA, Pa. - For the second straight season, IUP receiver Duane Brown earned preseason Division II All-American honors as the Crimson Hawks prepare for the 2022 season.

Brown was a second team selection in Lindy's Sports annual college football preview magazine and was a first team pick by The College Football Network. 

Brown is coming off a junior season in 2021 where he earned honorable mention All-American honors (Hansen Football Gazette) and was a first team All-PSAC West selection. He led the Hawks with 55 catches and 802 yards, adding seven receiving touchdowns, in nine games. He was also among Division II leaders with 6.1 receptions and 89.1 receiving yards per game. 

Brown had four 100-yard receiving games, including a season-high 137 on six grabs at Clarion, and averaged 11.3 yards on punt returns. 

Brown and the Crimson Hawks open their 2022 season on September 10 at East Stroudsburg.
