Box Score ERIE, Pa.- The IUP field hockey team extended their undefeated streak today against Mercyhurst with a 3-0 win. 

IUP pushes their record with this game to 3-0 as Mercyhurst slips to 1-3. 

Senior, Blaise Cugini sparked the game off fast in the first quarter with a solo goal at 8:52. Going into the second quarter, Freshman Jessica Davidson knocked a goal in that was assisted by Cara Betancourt at 20:45. Finishing the half off strong, Blaise Cugini got her second goal of the evening assisted by Paeton Hartmann at 26:51. In the second half of the game, neither team scored, securing the IUP 3-0 win. 

Here is what head coach Kelly Terwilliger had to say:
"I'm pleased for our Crimson Hawks to get the shutout and score 3 goals. We had different players contributing in different positions and our kids played hard and played together. The thing I'm most pleased about is that we're making progress with each game- we continue to grow and this team is eager to learn"
