SANDUSKY, Ohio – IUP women's tennis began its busy weekend in Ohio with a 5-2 dual win against Tiffin on Saturday afternoon.
The Hawks swept the doubles point and added four more singles victories in the triumph.
Karolin Kirchtag bounced back at No. 1 singles, taking a 6-2, 6-7 and 6-1 decision against Tiffin's Anaelle Lepinay. The success for IUP continues with wins at the No. 2, 4 and 6 spots to round out the victory.
Natalie Kmoskova battled for a win against Emily Barrett, 6-2, 3-6 and 6-4.
Katy Graydon followed suit at the No. 4 singles positioning, holding on for a 6-3, 3-6 and 6-4 victory against Carina Avram.
Lydia Vlachou fell in a tightly contested decision at No. 5 singles, while
Laura Dunarova handled Sharanya Shetty in scores of 6-1, 1-6 and 6-1.
