GREENSBURG, Pa. – IUP women's tennis continued its demanding nonconference dual slate on Sunday, falling by a 6-1 count to Findlay at the Greensburg Racquet Club.
IUP (1-5) posted a victory at No. 3 singles, courtesy of
Lydia Vlachou. Vlachou knocked off Emily Hadler in an extended three-set matchup, posting the victory in scores of 6-4, 2-6 and 11-9.
The Hawks were facing their second consecutive quality opponent over the weekend with some regular starters unavailable, falling to NCAA DI Bucknell on Saturday.
Laura Britto defeated
Laura Dunarova at the No. 4 singles spot, accounting for the next closest matchup in singles competition.
