BUFFALO, N.Y. – The IUP women's tennis squad dropped a dual matchup at Buffalo, 7-0, in the team's second match in as many days on Saturday afternoon.
Lydia Vlachou and
Idoia Huerta contested the closest matchup of the day at No. 2 singles, falling 6-7 (6-8). Buffalo earned the doubles point in its spring opener, sweeping the six singles matches later in the contest.
Karolin Kirchtag dropped a 2-6, 4-6 decision at No. 1 singles, while
Katy Graydon battled at No. No. 3 singles in a 5-7, 3-6 setback to Gabriella Akopyan.
IUP returns to action, visiting Tiffin and Wayne State on February 18-19 from Ohio.
