LAKELAND, Fla. – The Indiana University of Pennsylvania baseball program knotted the score at three apiece in the top of the sixth, but the Moccasins went ahead for good in the bottom half on the back of a solo shot by Connor Berry to win 4-3.

Colin Patterson served his role of designated hitter perfectly, smacking three base knocks in four at-bats which included his first career double, RBI, and runs scored (2x).

Harrison Pontoli notched a pair of ribbies, one off a sacrifice fly and the other via a one-run single while walking as well.

Au'sean Owens reached base safely thrice on the evening, drawing two walks and singling on top of stealing second base.

Eli Glass put together 1.2 innings-worth of scoreless and hitless work with a strikeout thrown in as
Ty Ryen retired the only Moc he faced.

The Crimson Hawks will face Florida Southern in round two of three at 6 p.m. once again from the inside of the Historic Henley Field.
