LATROBE, Pa. -- IUP women's tennis collected a clean sweep, picking up a 7-0 victory on Sunday against Seton Hill at Latrobe High School.
The victory marks the second conference triumph over the weekend for IUP (3-8, 2-0).
The Hawks rolled to a victory in doubles action with
Karolin Kirchtag and
Laura Dunarova starting off with a 6-0 win in the number three flight.
Lydia Vlachou and
Idoia Huerta followed it up with a shutout win of their own at the No. 2 spot before the duo of Nalie Kmoskova and
Joanna Stralka finished up doubled action with a 6-1 win.
The Crimson Hawks carried the momentum into singles action, taking every match in two sets. Vlachou and Dunarova racked up shutout wins at the No. 4 and 5 positions, before Kmoskova secured the victory in the match with a 6-2, 6-2 victory.
Kirchtag rounded out the number one singles action with a 6-2, 6-1 triumph before Stralka and Huerta followed suit with victories to close out the match.
