WASHINGTON, Pa. -- The IUP divers scored well at the Washington & Jefferson Diving Invitational, grabbing two first-place finishes, on Friday afternoon.
Three schools competed in the men's meet IUP, W&J, Chatham, and CMU joined in for the women's competition.Â
Jeremiah Laslavic placed first in the men's 1-meter with a total score of 424.00.
Nicholas Roddy came in fourth out of five divers with a score of 275.00.
IUP dominated the men's 3-meter dive, securing the top two spots. Roddy claimed first with a score of 400.45, followed closely by Laslavic in second with 400.10
The women's diving program placed three in the top five, out of nine divers in the 1-meter.
Corrine Armes placed second (388.95), fourth was
Jordyn Burkey (332.35), and closing out the top five was
Torri Zanella (250.00).
