NORTH CANTON, Ohio — The IUP women's tennis program locked up a 4-0 clinching victory for the second day in a row, finishing out the weekend with a triumph against Walsh on Sunday.

IUP (2-1) began the weekend with a rolling 4-0 victory against Ferris State on Saturday and followed suit with another shutout victory, not surrendering a point across the two matches.

IUP claimed the doubles point for the second straight day, claiming two of the three matches to start off the dual. Ming Deewajee and Dani Ramos cruised to a 6-1 victory at the No. 1 doubles flight before Veronica Sirci and Alexis Cramer finished out a 6-2 victory at the No. 3 slot.

Ahead 1-0, the Crimson Hawks kept rolling into singles play. Katy Graydon recorded a 6-1, 6-4 victory  at No. 2 singles and Ramos added her second victory of the match with a 6-2, 6-3 triumph at the No. 3 flight.

Sirci clinched the 4-0 decision for the Crimson Hawks with a 6-3, 6-3 win against Ciara Wolff. In just her second collegiate singles match, Sirci collected the clinching point at the No. 5 flight.
