INDIANA, Pa. -- IUP men's basketball senior
KJ Rhodes was named to the 2023-24 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, released by the organization on Tuesday.
Rhodes, a business administration major, boasts a 3.66 cumulative grade point average. To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District Team, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically, maintain a minimum 3.50 cumulative GPA, compete in 90 percent of the team's competitions or start in 66% of a team's competitions.
Information related to GPAs and academic majors were pulled following the fall 2023 semester.
The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2023-24 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
