CLARION, Pa. – The IUP women's tennis team collected its seventh straight win and fifth consecutive shutout with a commanding 7-0 road win against Clarion on Tuesday afternoon.
IUP improves to 11-8 and a perfect 6-0 in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play. Clarion dips to 1-9 overall and 0-3 in the PSAC.
IUP surrendered just one game on the day, blanking Clarion in eight of the nine contested matches. IUP cruised through the doubles portion of the match with 6-0 triumphs across the board for the duos of

The Crimson Hawks carried the momentum into singles action. Deewajee, Graydon, Ramos, Vlachou and Beitat all rolled to 6-0, 6-0 wins in singles action.
Lina Teleshun finished out the day with a 6-1, 6-0 victory at No. 6 singles against Taelyn Thomas.

The team will celebrate their seniors with a ceremony prior to the match, beginning around 2:30 p.m. at the Maple Street Courts.
