INDIANA, Pa. – IUP head men's golf coach
Dan Braun announced the addition of Evan Lewis to the program. Lewis joins the IUP men's golf program as a graduate transfer, capping a decorated four-year playing career at Davis & Elkins prior to his arrival in Indiana.
Lewis was a key contributor with the Senators since his freshman season in 2019-20. In that stretch, he was part of three Mountain East Conference (MEC) team championships, made three appearances at the NCAA DII National Championships and was a four-time all-conference selection at Davis & Elkins.
"We are thrilled to welcome Evan Lewis to the IUP men's golf family as a graduate transfer," Braun said. "Through his time at Davis & Elkins, the team and I have become very familiar with Evan, both personally and athletically. While his performance record speaks for itself, Evan possesses several traits that make him a perfect fit at IUP."
Lewis joins an already talented recruiting class for the 2024-25 school year that includes Ben De Castro and Trevor Todd. More accolades for Lewis can be found below.
"He's very popular with the members of the team who know him; Evan is a high-character, hard-working individual," Braun continued. "I am sure he will be successful during his time as a member of our program."
