INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP women's tennis team registered its third consecutive win, this one in shutout fashion with a rolling 7-0 triumph on a sunny Sunday at the Maple Street Courts.
IUP improves to 7-8 overall with the win, while Goldey-Beacom slips to 2-13 on the season. The Crimson Hawks swept all three doubles matches in relatively short order, continuing the success with contributions throughout the lineup in singles play.
Hannah Beitat and
Veronica Sirci continued their consistent play at No. 3 doubles, racking up a 6-0 shutout victory to begin the day. The top two doubles flights of

Dani Ramos and
Katy Graydon/
Lydia Vlachou added matching 6-1 victories in their flights of the afternoon.
Lina Teleshun rolled to a 6-0, 6-2 win at No. 5 singles for the Hawks before Beitat registered her second victory of the day with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles. Ramos handed Jess Sanzo a 6-1, 6-3 setback at No. 3 singles.
Alexis Cramer added a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles, knocking off Hannah Brandl. Graydon took control down the stretch of a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 2 singles. Dewajee secured the shutout for the Hawks with a 6-2, 6-3 win against Elizabeth Mova.
