>> The lead scorers for the Hawks are Nyshae' Weaver and Shamia Strayhorn. Most recently, Jordan, Wilkerson, and Miller have made huge impacts.
>> Lily Jordan made her second start this season against Gannon and led the Hawks with 17 points, two blocks, and four assists.
>> Marin Miller had a career night after she led the Hawks with 24 points, shot 9-for-13 from the field including four three-pointers, and grabbed six rebounds.
>> Miller and Centrulla combined for 45 of IUP's 94 points against UPJ.

SLIPPERY ROCK AT A GLANCEÂ
Slippery Rock is 7-10 overall and 4-7 in the conference. Their most recent matchup was against Clarion on the 18th, resulting in a 72-92 loss. Slippery Rock's four conference wins were against West Chester, 69-56, Kutztown, 64-57, Mansfield, 70-51, and Pitt-Johnstown, 71-58.Â
Slippery Rock is averaging 64.2 PPG, and their opponents are averaging 66.2 PPG. Slippery Rock is also putting up 37.6 RPG, 13.7 APG, 6.1 SPG, and 3.4 BPG. They are shooting .406 from the field, .326 from the arc, and .713 from the line.Â
Slippery Rock's top point scorer is sophomore guard Regan Atkins. Atkins is averaging 13.1 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 2.2 APG, 3.2 TOG, and 1.3 SPG. She is shooting .444 from teh field, .284 from the arc, and .719 from the line.Â
Slippery Rock's top rebounder is Kayley Joseph-Bernard. Joseph-Bernard is averaging 8.1 RPG, 8.3 PPG, 3.8 APG, 1.2 BPG, 2.8 TOG, and 1.4 SPG.Â
SERIES HISTORY
This will be IUP's 85th contest against Slippery Rock. The Crimson Hawks have a record of 57-27 against Slippery Rock, with their most recent loss in February of 2023. Their first matchup took place in January of 1984, and their most recent occurred in February of 2024. In their most recent matchup, IUP's Centrulla, Weaver, Scott, and Jarrett all got valuable minutes. combined, the four of them put up 16 points, 27 rebounds, six assists, three blocks, and three steals. Slippery Rock's Atkins also had a night, scoring posting a double-double from ten points and ten rebounds, as well as one assist and one block.Â
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
Since the opening of the KCAC in the 2011-12 season, IUP has had an outstanding home court advantage to go along with a nationally prominent basketball program.Â
IUP boasts a 164-30 (.845) record in home games since the venue opened, not losing more than four home games in a single season during that span. At the KCAC, the IUP women have won:Â

WILKERSON MAKING HER WAY
Ellie Wilkerson has started all 15 of the games she has appeared in. She just earned PSAC West Athlete of the Week on January 7 after her impressive performances at Daemen and Edinboro. Wilkerson posted her best performance of the season against Daemen, scoring 20 points on .643 shooting from the field with nine made field goals. For the week, she averaged 17.5 points per game, 33 minutes, and shot better than .500 from the field.Â
Overall, she is averaging 26.7 MPG, 10.7 PPG, 4.1 RPG, and is shooting .462 from the field. She has totaled 22 steals so far this season and has recorded at least one steal in every game leading up to Gannon. She has recorded at least two steals in seven games this season, most recently snagging four against Seton Hill. She has scored 15+ points three times this season.Â
A LOOK INTO STRAYHORN
Senior guard Shamia Strayhorn leads the team in MPG, averaging 32.2 minutes, placing her at 17th in the PSAC. Strayhorn is shooting .405 from the field and has contributed 60 rebounds, 36 assists, 29 steals, and three blocks to the team. Strayhorn has led the team in assists six times this season, followed by steals six times. Her free throw percentage ranks 16th in the PSAC (.733) from 75 attempts.
MORE FROM MILLER
Millersville transfer Marin Miller has started the new year strong. Since their first game against Daemen on the 3rd, Miller has begun increasing her PPG average, going from 4.8 at the end of December, to 6.5 this past week. Miller is also averaging 3.1 RPG and 1.7 APG. Miller ahd a career high of 24 points against Pitt-Johnstown on January 15.Â
FRESH OFF THE BENCH
IUP has utilized players off the bench through the season, including Lily Jordan, Madison Zavasky, and Macie Jarrett. Freshman Jordan is leading the bench in points, shooting .471 from the field and averaging 6.9 PPG. Averaging 24.6 MPG, Jordan has notched 74 rebounds, 25 assists, 14 steals, and five blocks. Macie Jarrett has witnessed more minutes this new year, averaging 9.3 MPG. While averagig .455 from the field and .600 from the arc, Jarrett has posted 11 rebounds, two assists, and two steals.Â
