INDIANA, Pa. – The Indiana (Pa.) women's soccer team cruised to a 5–0 win over Mansfield on Wednesday afternoon at South Campus Field.
Emily Lattea led the Crimson Hawks with a hat trick, scoring in the 30th, 67th and 83rd minutes. Her final goal came off an assist from Jordina Rovira Sole.
Melody Leiva and Elle Smith added the other two goals for IUP. Leiva found the back of the net in the 52nd minute off a pass from Taylor Serrano, while Smith tallied her goal in the 65th minute.
The Crimson Hawks dominated possession and offensive chances, outshooting Mansfield 27–0, including a 17–0 edge in shots on goal.
Mansfield goalkeeper Serenity Esterline recorded 11 saves before being relieved by Angel Gule, who made one.
IUP improved to 9–1–2 overall and 7–1–1 in PSAC play, while Mansfield dropped to 0–9–0 and 0–7–0.
