WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- IUP rebounded with a victory against Palm Beach Atlantic on Tuesday afternoon after falling to Embry-Riddle 6-1 on Sunday.
The Hawks started the match winning the doubles point with wins coming from No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. In No. 2 doubles was Lieselotte Hartlohner and
Annemiek Sterk completing a 6-0 sweep. No. 3 doubles was occupied by
Isabelle Oikawa Torres and
Asel Calbay with a 6-3 victory.Â

In the No. 1 doubles match,
Ming Deewajee and
Dani Ramos fought hard but fell just short, 5-7.

Hartlohner in No. 1 singles dropped the first set 6-7 but came back and won the second 6-4 to force a tie breaker, which she won 10-8.Â

Deewajee in No. 2 singles won with scores of 6-1 and 6-4. No. 3 singles
Dani Ramos came close but lost with scores of 2-6 and 6-7.

The Hawks secured two more wins in singles play, with
Hannah Beitat claiming a 6-3, 6-4 victory at No. 4 and Calbay earning a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 5. Oikawa Torres wrapped up the match at No. 6 singles but came up short, falling 3-6, 4-6.
