INDIANA, Pa. -- Junior infielder Delaney Patella was named to the 2025 Division II Conference Commissioners Association's (D2CCA) All-Atlantic Region Second Team, released Monday afternoon.

East Stroudsburg's Abigail Weirich was named the Player of the Year, along with teammate Sarah Davenport being named the Pitcher of the Year.

The 2025 D2CCA All-Atlantic Region Softball teams consisted of 10 seniors, seven juniors, eight sophomore, and three freshmen. The teams features 21 players from the PSAC. five players from the Mountain East Conference (MEC), and two players from the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA). 

Patella is the first D2CCA All-Atlantic Region team selection since 2021. 

Patella was named a PSAC West First Team selection for the third consecutive season. This season, Patella recorded 36 hits, 37 runs, 36 RBIs, and six home runs. Patella was named PSAC West Athlete of the Week on April 14 after going 9-for-15 with six runs, five doubles, two home runs, and 15 RBIs.

She ranks in the top five in program history in home runs (24), ranked fourth in runs scored (120), and holds the program record for career walks (114). She drew 34 walks this season, ranking second in the conference and leads the PSAC with a .526 on-base percentage.
