INDIANA, Pa. – The IUP softball program had five student-athletes named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® team, released by the organization on Tuesday.
Maddie Griffin (Accounting),
Delaney Patella (Fashion Studies),
Madison Pikula (Kinesiology),
Reagan Rand (Kinesiology), and
Kendall Young (Nursing) were all recognized for their performance in the classroom and on the diamond.
To qualify for the CSC Academic All-District® team, student-athletes must be a sophomore academically and athletically with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, in addition to a minimum requirement of games played.
Academic data for this award were pulled from grades of the spring 2025 semester. Select Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2024-25 Division II and III Academic All-America programs.
