Dunn named to NCBWA All-Region Team

INDIANA, Pa. – IUP baseball junior standout Elijah Dunn was named a Second Team NCBWA  All-Atlantic Region selection as a outfielder, announced Friday afternoon.
 
A three-year member of the team, Dunn made starts in 106 of the 116 games he appeared in and was recently named to the All-PSAC West First Team. 

This season Dunn ranked seventh in the PSAC in home runs (11), 26th in RBIs (35), ninth in slugging percentage (.639), and had a fielding percentage of 1.000 with 71 putouts.

Dunn combined for four home runs and 10 RBIs in the Slippery Rock series, and had two five game hitting streaks. Dunn ranked fourth on the team in runs (32), fifth in hits (40), stole nine bases, and hit five doubles.

He hit home runs in nine different games this season and in program history he ranks fifth in season home runs and fifth in career home runs with 22.
