INDIANA, Pa. — The IUP women's volleyball team picked up its second conference win of the season Thursday night, defeating Lock Haven 3–1 (25–17, 25–11, 22–25, 25–18) at the Kovalchick Complex.
Charlotte Potvin powered the Crimson Hawks with 18 kills to go along with seven digs and a block. Delaney Concannon added nine kills and three service aces, while setter Ellie Rauch tallied 45 assists, 10 digs and five blocks in a well-rounded effort.
IUP (10–3, 2–1 PSAC) jumped out quickly, controlling the opening two sets with a balanced attack and an efficient .266 hitting percentage. The Bald Eagles fought back in the third, closing strong for a 25–22 win behind 14 kills from Madelyn Mitchell.
The Crimson Hawks regrouped in the fourth, using timely blocking and aggressive serving to close out the match 25–18.
Overall, IUP held decisive advantages in kills (53–33) and blocks (12–3), while also notching eight service aces. Lock Haven (3–10, 1–1) finished with six aces but could not keep pace offensively.
