ERIE, Pa. — Indiana University of Pennsylvania was unable to overcome a strong second-half surge by Gannon, falling 92-65 on Saturday in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play at the Highmark Events Center.
The Crimson Hawks trailed 39-30 at halftime but cut the deficit to six early in the second half before the Golden Knights pulled away with a decisive run. Gannon outscored IUP 53-35 over the final 20 minutes to seal the victory.
Christian Moore led all scorers with 24 points for IUP, knocking down six 3-pointers on the night. Dallis Dillard finished with 15 points, while Damir Brooks added nine points for the Crimson Hawks.
IUP shot 39% from the field and 36.7% from beyond the arc but struggled to slow Gannon's balanced offensive attack. The Golden Knights placed five players in double figures and shot 50% from the floor.
Precious Idiaru paced Gannon with 18 points and seven rebounds. Pace Prosser added 17 points, while Victor Desmond, Mason Kemp and Mackenzie Morgan also reached double figures.
