LOCK HAVEN, Pa. — Christian Moore became the first Indiana University of Pennsylvania men's basketball player to be named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week after averaging 21 points in two wins last week.
Moore scored in double figures in 15 of IUP's 16 games this season and has posted at least 17 points in six consecutive contests. He recorded a 24-point, 10-rebound double-double in a win against Edinboro on Jan. 21 at the Kovalchick Convention and Athletic Complex.
The junior has reached his season high of 24 points three times, all within the past four games. He is averaging 16.9 points per game, ranking second on the team.
Moore and the Crimson Hawks will look to build on the momentum this week when they host California (Pa.) on Wednesday and travel to Seton Hill on Saturday.
