INDIANA, Pa. — Indiana University of Pennsylvania continued its strong run in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference play, rolling past Millersville University 88-49 at the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex.
The Crimson Hawks set the tone early, building a 45-21 halftime lead and never allowing the Marauders to threaten. IUP controlled the game in all four quarters, using balanced scoring and defensive pressure to pull away.
Ellie Wilkerson led all scorers with 23 points, knocking down five 3-pointers on efficient shooting from the field. Nyshae' Weaver added 18 points and eight rebounds, while Teresa Maggio finished with 10 points and three assists.
IUP shot efficiently throughout the game and dominated the glass, outrebounding Millersville 47-31. The Crimson Hawks also forced 21 turnovers, turning defense into transition offense.
Millersville struggled to find rhythm against IUP's pressure defense. Daniella Ranieli paced the Marauders with 12 points, and Carley Berk added nine, but Millersville shot under 30 percent from the field.
The win keeps IUP unbeaten in conference play as it continues PSAC action.
