CLARION, Pa. — The Indiana University of Pennsylvania diving teams turned in several strong performances at the PA DII Diving Invite held at Tippin Natatorium on the campus of PennWest Clarion. Six Crimson Hawks competed in the meet.
On the men's side, Christopher Hill placed third in the 1-meter championship with a score of 323.20 across 11 dives. He followed with a fourth-place finish in the 3-meter championship, posting a score of 213.70.
Jeremiah Laslavic delivered one of the top performances of the meet, winning the men's 3-meter championship with a score of 489.45 — the highest mark of his Crimson Hawks career. He also finished runner-up in the 1-meter championship with 419.70 points.
Senior Nick Roddy added another strong showing, finishing in the top two in both of his events. He captured the 1-meter championship title with a score of 433.10, his second-best mark of the season, both recorded at Tippin Natatorium.
Freshman Ethan Rigge earned a top-four finish in the 1-meter championship, scoring 314.15.
For the women, Bailey Steele posted a pair of solid finishes, placing as high as sixth across her events, while Tori Zanella competed in the women's 1-meter championship and scored 295.20.
IUP will return to Tippin Natatorium on Saturday to compete in the PA DII Last Chance Diving Meet as the Crimson Hawks continue preparations for postseason competition.
