CLARION, Pa. — The Indiana University of Pennsylvania diving team returned to Tippin Natatorium on the campus of PennWest Clarion on Saturday to compete in the PA DII Last Chance Meet, with several Crimson Hawks posting improved scores.
Christopher Hill highlighted the men's 1-meter championship with a score of 386.45, improving his previous mark by more than 50 points from Friday's competition. Jeremiah Laslavic also delivered a strong performance, posting his top 1-meter score of the weekend at 433.80.
Freshman Ethan Riggle recorded his best 1-meter mark with a score of 331.05, while senior Nick Roddy led the Crimson Hawks with a winning score of 459.80 in the event, the top IUP performance of the day.
On the women's side, Bailey Steele paced the team with a score of 330.05 in the women's 1-meter championship. Tori Zanella also competed in the event, finishing with a score of 253.00 in her lone competition of the day.
The meet marked another opportunity for IUP divers to sharpen performances as they continue preparations for upcoming postseason competition.
