INDIANA, Pa. — Indiana University of Pennsylvania built a halftime lead and controlled the final minutes Wednesday night to earn an 80-70 conference victory over Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference men's basketball action.
IUP carried a 37-31 advantage into halftime and maintained steady offensive production in the second half, using timely free throws and balanced scoring to keep the Griffins from mounting a late comeback.
Dallis Dillard led the Crimson Hawks with 20 points, while Christian Moore added 17. Bautista Rodriguez provided 10 points off the bench, and both Damir Brooks and Luke Triggs chipped in nine points each.
The Crimson Hawks capitalized at the foul line and received solid bench production to maintain separation throughout the closing stretch.
Kedrick Curtis paced Seton Hill with 22 points. Camden Brewer added 15 points, while Dean Simos finished with 11.
The win helps IUP remain firmly in the conference race as the regular season approaches its final weeks.
