INDIANA, Pa. — The IUP men's basketball team dropped a PSAC contest to Gannon, 87-69, on Saturday afternoon at the Kovalchick Convention & Athletic Complex.
The Crimson Hawks fell behind early as Gannon built a 44-28 lead at halftime. IUP showed improvement offensively in the second half, scoring 41 points, but was unable to overcome the first-half deficit.
Damir Brooks led the Crimson Hawks with 15 points on perfect shooting from the field and added seven rebounds. Dallis Dillard scored 12 points, while Tyler Grove finished with 11 points. Christian Moore added eight points, and Bautista Rodriguez recorded seven points and seven rebounds.
IUP shot 41 percent from the field and was limited from beyond the arc, while Gannon converted at a higher rate and capitalized on key scoring runs to maintain control.
IUP will host the West No. 6 Seeded Edinboro on Monday inside the KCAC. Information will be released on how to purchase the tickets Sunday Morning.
