INDIANA, Pa. — Dallis Dillard scored 30 points to lead Indiana (Pa.) to a commanding 100-47 victory over Penn State Du Bois on Wednesday night. Dillard also recorded 11 assists and ten rebounds for the first IUP triple-double since Armoni Foster against Pitt-Greensburg on New Year's Eve in 2021.
The Crimson Hawks shot 59.2% from the field and seized control early, building a 50-16 halftime lead before cruising through the second half. IUP finished 42 of 71 from the floor while holding Penn State Du Bois to 28% shooting.
Ian Herring added 17 points for IUP, while Damir Brooks contributed 15 points on a perfect 7-for-7 shooting performance. Luke Triggs chipped in 13 points off the bench, and Ralphie Blundo scored 12 points, all from 3-point range.
IUP dominated inside, outscoring Penn State Du Bois 48-10 in the paint and finishing with a 42-25 rebounding advantage. The Crimson Hawks also turned defense into offense, scoring 26 points off turnovers and adding 30 fast-break points.
Penn State Du Bois struggled offensively throughout, shooting 14-for-50 overall and 6-for-25 from 3-point range as IUP pulled away for the decisive nonconference win.
