INDIANA, Pa. — Senior Nyshae Weaver of IUP Crimson Hawks women's basketball was named First Team All-Atlantic Region by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association on Thursday.

Weaver improved on last season's recognition after earning Second Team All-Atlantic Region honors in 2024–25. She becomes one of four players from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference West to receive all-region honors this season and one of just two from the division to earn first-team recognition.

The senior forward has been one of the most efficient players in the country this season. Weaver ranks in the top five nationally in field goal percentage while also placing among the top ten in the PSAC in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage.

Weaver has been a key piece for the Crimson Hawks during their standout season and continues to collect postseason accolades heading into the NCAA Tournament.
