INDIANA, Pa. — IUP sophomore designated hitter Camden Rhude added another major postseason honor to his breakout 2026 campaign Wednesday, earning first-team All-Region recognition from the American Baseball Coaches Association.

The selection marks the third All-Region honor for Rhude this postseason after also earning recognition from the D2CCA and NCBWA. He was previously named first-team All-PSAC West following one of the top offensive seasons in the conference.

Rhude emerged as one of the most dangerous hitters in the PSAC this spring, leading the Crimson Hawks with a .392 batting average and a 1.141 OPS.

The sophomore also paced IUP with 58 hits while driving in 43 runs and tying for the team lead with eight home runs.

Rhude became a consistent force in the middle of the lineup throughout the season, using a combination of power and plate discipline to help anchor one of the top offenses in the PSAC.

Over the course of the year, he developed into one of the biggest breakout players in the Atlantic Region, especially during the second half of the season when his offensive production surged.

His performance helped guide the Crimson Hawks to another PSAC Tournament appearance and a trip to the conference semifinals.

Rhude's latest accolade adds to a growing list of postseason honors for IUP baseball after another successful season under the Crimson Hawks program.
