IUP Earns 25 PSAC Spring Academic All-Conference Selections

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – It has been a historic spring season for the IUP Athletics Department, both in competition and in the classroom.

After all 19 IUP athletic programs qualified for the PSAC postseason during the 2025-26 academic year, the Crimson Hawks continued their momentum Wednesday as the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference released its Spring Academic All-Conference selections.

A total of 26 IUP student-athletes across seven sports earned recognition for their accomplishments both athletically and academically.

The honor is awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least four semesters at their institution while maintaining a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher. Student-athletes must also compete in at least 70 percent of their team's contests.

Overall, 382 student-athletes from across the conference were recognized.

The spring season featured several memorable moments for the Crimson Hawks.

IUP softball tied the program record for wins in a season with 38 victories while advancing to the PSAC semifinals behind one of the most accomplished senior classes in school history.

Women's tennis returned to the NCAA National Championships after capturing its sixth consecutive PSAC West regular-season championship and winning the Atlantic Regional Pod hosted in Indiana, Pa., earning a trip to Surprise, Arizona.

Baseball reached the PSAC semifinals for the second consecutive season, while women's lacrosse secured the No. 3 seed in the PSAC West postseason race after another strong campaign.

Softball and women's lacrosse led all IUP programs with seven selections each.
