INDIANA, Pa. — IUP head men's golf coach Dan Braun announced the signing of four student-athletes for 2026-27. Sam Bishop, Alex Talmadge, Eli Bintrim and David DeGregory will begin their collegiate studies and athletic careers at IUP in the fall of 2026.
All four student-athletes are Pennsylvania natives and class of 2026 high school graduates. The new additions help bolster an IUP roster that graduated one of the most accomplished senior classes in program history this past spring.
"We are excited to welcome these four talented, hard-working young men to the IUP men's golf program," Braun said. "Each of them has the traits necessary to transition into the culture built by our current student-athletes and those who have preceded them."
IUP men's golf is one of the most accomplished programs in the region, boasting a conference record 32 PSAC championships. The 2025-26 season marked a record 29th straight regional appearance for IUP.
"I am looking forward to aiding in their development both on the golf course and in the classroom. There's a high level of excitement to see what these four can achieve during each of their IUP careers," Braun continued.
