Sophomore forward Jacobo Diaz was named an IUP Athlete of the Week, for the week ending on Sunday, November 27. It's Diaz's second straight IUP weekly award and second of his career. 

Diaz led the 15th-ranked IUP men's basketball team to a perfect weekend, averaging team-bests of 15.0 points and 7.5 rebounds, while shooting 55.6 percent (10-18) in wins over Alderson Broaddus and The Sciences. He also had five steals and made 10-12 from the free throw line as the Crimson Hawks improved to 7-0 on the year.
